Elijah Taylor - Warrior

Elijah Taylor, aged 21, is a professional rugby league player with the NZ Warriors. He is valued as as a back rower, standoff or centre.

After captaining the Junior Warriors in the 2009 NYC competition he was twice named to join the seniors ... only to be invalided out within a few days of his first game.

Elijah was just about to become an NRL player in 2010 while still being eligible for the NYC, when injury intervened: a ruptured ACL knee joint sidelined him for six months.

As well as his fulltime role at the Warriors, Elijah is studying part-time to become a personal trainer.
